Juraj Mravec: Rok na prednej línii, zoči-voči Islamskému štátu

Posledné roky nám médiá neustále prinášajú aktuálne informácie o situácii v Iraku a Sýrii. V roku 2014 sa džihádisti postupne zmocnili veľkých častí Blízkeho východu a Islamský štát začal svoju vojnu proti vládam v Sýrii a v Iraku. Nakoniec dobyli aj sunitské mesto Mosul, čo bolo podľa Juraja Mravca jedno z najväčších prekvapení. Práve ono sa stalo centrom ISIS. Ako sa na ňu pozerá človek, ktorý ju na vlastnej koži prežil? 

V stredu, 21. novembra 2017, mali študenti prvého ročníka Katedry žurnalistiky Filozofickej fakulty UK možnosť vypočuť si na prednáške reportážneho fotografa Juraja Mravca, ktorý im veľmi emočne priblížil svoj rok na prednej  bojovej línii v Iraku, kde bol so skupinou slovenských paramedikov z Akadémie urgentnej medicíny. Dozvedeli sa, ako postupne prebiehala ofenzíva irackých a kurdských jednotiek na Mosul i to, aké náročné ho bolo oslobodiť. 

Jeho pobyt sa začal 24. októbra 2016. Na začiatku stretnutia pustil Juraj Mravec študentom jedno z videí, ktoré natočil, keď spolu s paramedikmi precházali cez nebezpečnú oblasť. Následne pokračovala prezentácia fotografií z jeho pobytu v Iraku. Všetky z nich mali svoj vlastný príbeh, každá vyvoláva iné emócie.

Mesiace strávené na púšti boli fyzicky aj psychicky veľmi náročné. Ako sám povedal: „Vyzeralo to tam často ako vo vesmíre, na púšti sme nič nevideli, iba počuli kurdskú ofenzívu, lietadlá, streľby, ktoré boli na dennom poriadku.“ S paramedikmi pomáhali mnohým zraneným, ktorých ošetrovali priamo na fronte, aby prežili cestu do nemocníc, ale tiež mnohým utečencom, ktorí začali utekať hlavne po tom, čo sa začala západná ofenzíva na Mosul. 

Nechýbali ani fotografie detí, ktoré patrili k jedným z najčastejších obetí. V mieri  takmer vôbec nežili, vojna bola pre nich bežným stavom. Bez obáv pobiehali po okolí, často končili v rukách paramedikov po výbuchoch mín či iných zraneniach. Pre fotografa a dokumentaristu Juraja Mravca bol pohľad na tieto deti jednou z najťažších častí pobytu na vojnovej línii. 

Zámerom Mravcovej cesty bolo natočiť dokumentárny film, ktorý by mali uviesť do vybraných kín v apríli 2018.  Prednáška mnohým z nás otvorila oči a ukázala nám, že kým my riešime úplné banality, inde ľudia hladujú, trhajú sa o slnečnicové semiačka a bojujú každý deň o holý život a prežitie svojej rodiny.

Individuals with a high intake of copper supplements: Overconsumption of copper supplements can lead to acute or chronic copper poisoning. Copper supplements are often promoted for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, but these benefits may only be applicable in individuals who have a copper deficiency. 5. Individuals with copper exposure in their workplace: Copper is used in a variety of industrial applications, and workers in copper smelters, wire and cable manufacturing, plumbing, and roofing may be exposed to high levels of copper dust and fumes. Inhalation of copper particles can lead to copper poisoning. Symptoms of copper poisoning can mimic other illnesses and include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headaches, dizziness, and liver and kidney damage. Long-term exposure to copper can cause serious health complications, such as anemia, kidney failure, and neurological damage.
