Vladimír Šnídl: Tradičné médiá neklamú, ohrozili by tým svoje tržby

BRATISLAVA 28. novembra – Tradičné médiá si nemôžu dovoliť klamať, podotkol Vladimír Šnídl, reportér denníka N, ktorý prišiel prvákom Katedry žurnalistiky Filozofickej fakulty UK prednášať o dezinformáciách a hoaxoch.

Autor príručky Pravda  a lož na Facebooku nám prostredníctvom prezentácie ukázal viacero prípadov, keď alternatívne internetové portály prekrútili informácie z tlačových správ, aby si zvýšili čítanosť. „Tradičné médiá to nerobia, ohrozili by tým svoju dôveryhodnosť, a teda aj tržby,“ vysvetlil. 

V rámci prednášky sa so študentmi podelil aj o skúsenosti z diskusií na stredných školách. Ako uviedol, občas sa stretne s mladými sympatizantmi radikálnych strán či so skeptickými riaditeľmi, ktorí nevedia, akým spôsobom zmeniť ich názory. Aj preto vydal denník N viacero príručiek s návodmi, ako odhaliť dezinformácie a hoaxy na internete. 

Vladimír Šnídl predtým pracoval v českých Hospodářských novinách, týždenníku Ekonom a denníku SME. Ako redaktorovi denníka N sa mu začiatkom tohto roka podarilo odhaliť kauzu o povýšení Andreja Danka na kapitána.
